The Hazelnut WONDERSPREAD is currently only available by email invite.

Why do we make this Wonderspread so hard to get? First, we lose money on it. Despite finally increasing capacity to meet demand, ingredient costs (especially cocoa) have skyrocketed. However, this is an experiment to achieve food science perfection by seeing what the most available and advanced ingredients are available, and believe we are 96% there. Those ingredients also happen to be very expensive. They include Callebaut® full-fat cocoa, which we believe delivers the most chocolate flavor per molecule. Also, we ensure a third of each jar consists of ultra-fresh Oregon Hazelnuts, that we only order in whole pieces, with the skin on during delivery, to ensure as little flavor as possible was lost through oxidation. It must replicate the rich/nutty/sweet lingering taste of eating a small handful of whole hazelnut pieces, and deliver that experience in a single tablespoon and using only 50 calories. The second reason, and what we believe is the most important, is our customers telling us this is truly the only way they get their chocolate fix, and feel good about it after. We would rather take a hit and continue to serve the customers this “nothing-else-comes-close” chocolate hazelnut spread, continue to be available, and try to keep it at a reasonable price for as long as we can.
