A first ever for peanut butter – a unique version designed for low-calorie peanut butter recipes, with added chia seeds to hold it firm. Firm, but very versatile – it will temporarily turn into liquid form when heated, and easy to cut with a knife when it is cool/room temperature. If you require exact portion control in recipes, this is the version to go with. Melt, drizzle on any treat, and let cool to create a lower calorie peanut butter shell. Add chocolate chunks to make instant peanut butter cups with significantly less calories. Make a “proper” peanut butter ice cream by adding more full-flavor/half-calorie peanut chunks. Unleash your lower calorie peanut butter creativity and imagination… or simply eat directly from the jar in chunks to satisfy your peanut butter craving with lower calories.

To turn it to liquid form: Transfer to a heat-safe glass or ceramic container, and microwave on high power for about 30-45 seconds, or until it can be stirred easily. Pour it in a cupcake mold or drizzle directly on anything, and let it harden (hardens faster in the fridge or freezer).

Please note: If you have not used it before, this limited edition version with the signature white lid is quite different than “traditional peanut butter”. Although the label says “peanut butter spread” due to FDA food labeling requirements, it is actually firm, not indented to be stirred, has a more concentrated peanut butter flavor, and designed to be heated and used like solid baking chocolate blocks. If you do require a soft, spreadable version for general low-calorie peanut butter use such as spreading on toast, rice cakes, etc. please choose the softer spreadable version with the black lid instead.
